Race Information .

Event: The event is divided into a 15km road race and a 10km social walk. The race is open to all athletes, registered and non-registered. However the organisers reserve the right to require further information about entrants under 16 years of age in the 15km road race.

Entries and Fees: Entry is requested by pre-entry and should be received no later than Tuesday 7 May 2013. Late entries will be accepted after this date and on the day of the race up to 45 minutes before the start. Please note there will be a late entry fee of $10.00 in addition to the entry fee payable. All fees are non-refundable. Please note any competitor who contravenes general competition or race rules will be disqualified and ineligible for prizes.

• 15km road race - $25.00
• 10km social walk - $15.00

Course: The 15km race and the 10km social walk commence in Greenpark Road outside the domain. The 15km race proceeds in a clockwise direction turning right into Hudsons Road, right into Davidsons Road (2.5km), right into Greenpark Road (5.5km) and back to the Greenpark Domain. The 10km walk initially proceeds in an anticlockwise direction for 1.3km before turning and returning to the start area. From there the walk follows the run as described above. Competitors in the 15km race complete two laps and the social walk one. All competitors must follow the race marked course and stay as close to the edge of the right hand side of the road as possible unless otherwise directed by a course marshal. Marshals will be placed at points along the course to ensure safety of all road users. Please note the race is held on an Open Road Speed Limit road and the road will NOT be closed to traffic. We request for road safety that vehicles, motorcycles, or cycles etc not accompany entrants.Map of course

Drink Stations: These will be positioned at approximately the 4km, 8km and 12km marks.

Times: Times will be recorded for all competitors at the finish. These times will be printed on a finishers list and posted on this website. Past Results

Check in and Start Times: The 15km race and 10km walk start at 10am. Competitors must register and collect race numbers no later than 45 minutes before the start in the Greenpark Domain opposite the starting point. Please arrive early.

Race Numbers: The official race number as issued must be worn on the front and be clearly visible at all times during the race. Only competitors wearing an official race number will be allowed to enter the finishing chute.

Prizes: The prize giving function will be held at 12 noon in the Greenpark Domain next to the finish area. To be eligible for spot prizes competitors must be present at the prize-giving function.

• 15k Road Race Men: first $400, second $200, third $100;
• 15k Road Race Women: first $400, second $200, third $100;
• New Balance prize packs for the first three men and women in the 40-49 and 50+ age groups in the 15km race;
• Walkers will be eligible for spot prizes drawn at the prize giving.

Parking: There will be no parking allowed on the roads outside the Greenpark Domain. There is ample parking inside the Domain. Please follow marshals as directed.

How to get to Greenpark:

1. Travel to Prebbleton on Springs Road
2. Just through Prebbleton turn left into Birches Road (signposted)
3. Follow Birches Road to the Lincoln township (NOT Lincoln University)
4. Turn left into Edward Street (signposted)
5. After 2km approx turn right into Ellesmere Road (signposted)
6. Follow Ellesmere Road/Hudson Road to Greenpark
7. Turn right into Greenpark Road (signposted)
